The 501/453/Universal Cable Gland is a Group II certified double seal gland designed for hazardous areas, including Zone 1/21 and Zone 2/22. It is dual certified for ATEX/IECEx and supports Increased Safety (Exe), Flameproof (Exd), Restricted Breathing (ExnR), and Dust (Ext) protection. The gland features an integral grounding ring for various armour types, elastomeric and plastic insulated cables, and offers seals to prevent cold flow on the inner sheath. It provides IP66 to IP69 ingress protection with a patented tightening guide, reversible armour clamp, and a unique rear seal for exceptional cable sealing.
