The 501/453/RAC/L Cable Gland is a Group II certified double-seal gland suitable for Zone 1/21 and Zone 2/22 hazardous areas. It is dual certified ATEX/IECEx for Increased Safety (Exe), Flameproof (Exd), Restricted Breathing (ExnR), and Dust (Ext) protection. The gland is designed for elastomer and plastic insulated cables, especially those with lead inner sheaths, and features an elastomeric Exd flameproof compression seal on the inner sheath. It includes a reversible armour clamp for various armour types and a grounding ring. Additionally, it offers a low smoke, zero halogen seal on the outer sheath and is available with metric or NPT threadforms.
